Bity Book Bite part quatro: ISBN numbers

One thing that makes searching for books much easier is giving college bookstores and regular bookstores like Barnes & Noble and Borders the ISBN number.

On the back of the book, usually at the lower right or lower left side is a list of numbers ranging from 10 to 13 numbers.

If you want to avoid mishaps on getting the right version of a book check the ISBN number. It also saves a lot of time when searching for the book again if you forget the title and have to check again. In addition, if you call a Barnes & Noble or any other bookstore they will actually search the book by the ISBN number if you ask for a book by it. It saved me a lot of time junior year.

Bity Book Bite uno part deux: The right version of books

Bity Book Bite uno part deux: The right version

Caution is needed when buying college books. A problem that appears a lot is buying a book that has the same title as the book you need and looks like the book you need but is the wrong edition.

Always be sure to compare the book in every way:

    • Title
    • Edition
    • Appearance
